(This Service Bulletin supercedes SB89-09-002, to correct lower guide pin torque specification.)
VEHICLES AFFECTED

1988-89 Trooper II (KT), Pickup (TF) and Amigo (TC) models with 4ZEI engine (rear disc brakes).

SERVICE INFORMATION

A groaning noise may be heard from the rear brakes when the brake pedal is slightly depressed while traveling in reverse at slow speeds. Installing new,
improved rear disc brake pad kits will eliminate the noise.

In order to perform correctly, these new brake pad kits must be installed as described in this Service Bulletin.
