Intake Manifold: Service and Repair

1.

Disconnect battery ground cable and drain cooling system.

2.

Remove EGR valve attaching bolts, then EGR valve.

3.

Remove throttle valve attaching bolts, then throttle valve and gasket.

4.

Remove common chamber attaching bolts, then common chamber and gasket.

5.

Remove water temperature sensor and from intake manifold.

6.

Remove air regulator from bottom of manifold.

7.

Remove thermal valve, water outlet pipe, thermostat and gasket from intake manifold.

8.

Remove fuel injectors and pipe as an assembly.

9.

Remove intake manifold attaching bolts, then manifold and gasket.

10.

Reverse procedure to install.
