SERVICE INFORMATION
At cruising speeds, the oil pressure gauge may indicate that the oil pressure has dropped to about 8-10 psi, without illuminating the oil pressure warning
light. If the oil pressure gauge reading is lower than the actual oil pressure, this could be caused by a faulty condenser (Figure 1), located on the oil
pressure gauge sending unit. Replacing the condenser may eliminate this condition.
