Check the automatic transmission fluid level at normal engine operating temperature, parking brake on, engine idling in neutral, vehicle on a level
surface. With brakes applied, move the shift lever through all the gear ranges, ending in Park, before inspecting transmission fluid level.

The transfer chain case fluid should be even with the bottom edge of the filler hole. The vehicle must be level when checking fluid level.
