Front Door Window Motor: Service and Repair
Removal/Installation

Driver Seat Side

REMOVAL

Preparation: Disconnect the battery ground cable.

1.  Window regulator assembly

^  Refer to the removal of 'WINDOW REGULATOR AND GLASS" in "BODY" system.

2.  Power window motor

^  Remove three screws.

Caution:
When removing the motor from the regulator, be careful not to get injured by the strong repellent force of the regulator spring.

INSTALLATION

To install, follow the removal steps in the reverse order.

Front Passenger Seat Side

REMOVAL

Preparation: Disconnect the battery ground cable

1.  Window regulator assembly

^  Refer to the removal of "WINDOW REGULATOR AND GLASS" in "BODY"system.

2.  Power window motor

^  Remove three screws.

Caution:
When removing the regulator from the motor, be careful not to get injured by the strong force of the regulator spring.
