Connect the new left front brake pipe assembly to the master cylinder P & B valve. Tighten the fitting to 104 lb. in. (12 Nm).

8.

Install the EVAP canister bracket and EVAP canister.

9.

Install the intake duct and air cleaner cover. Reconnect the MAF sensor harness connector.

10.

Start the engine and bleed the left and right front brake calipers. Refer to Section 5A of the appropriate Workshop Manual for brake bleeding
procedure details.

When completed, turn off the engine, raise the vehicle, and install the inner mud flap and left front wheel. Tighten the wheel nuts to 87 lb. ft. (118 Nm)
each. Lower the vehicle and check the front disc brakes for proper operation.

APPLYING THE CAMPAIGN LABEL

1.

Affix a campaign label (Part No. 2-90028-700-0) adjacent to the manufacturer's identification label located on the driver's side B-pillar.

2.

Using a ball-point pen, fill in the label with Campaign Number 97V-092, Isuzu dealer code, and repair date (Figure 2).

This notice is sent to you in accordance with the requirements of the National Traffic and Motor Vehicle Safety Act. Isuzu Motors Limited has
determined that a defect which relates to motor vehicle safety exists on certain 1996-97 Trooper models.

WHAT IS THE CONDITION?

Some left front brake pipes were improperly installed, so there is insufficient clearance between the brake pipe and the upper suspension. If the brake
pipe rubs against the suspension, it can become damaged, resulting in brake fluid leakage. If this occurs, the front brakes may become inoperative,
reducing overall braking performance without warning. This could result in longer than normal stopping distances and could lead to a vehicle crash.

WHAT WE WILL DO

To prevent this condition from occuring, your Isuzu dealer will inspect your vehicle's left front brake pipe assembly for proper clearance with the
adjacent upper control arm. If the left front brake pipe assembly does not have the proper clearance, it will be replaced with a new one. This service will
be performed for you at no charge.

WHAT YOU SHOULD DO

Please contact your Isuzu dealer as soon as possible to arrange a service date. Instructions for making this correction have been sent to your Isuzu dealer.
Please ask your dealer if you wish to know how much time will be needed to schedule and process your vehicle. Presentation of this letter to your dealer
will assist in making the necessary correction in the shortest possible time. Please have your dealer refer to Campaign Bulletin SB97-09-L003. If you
have sold or traded your vehicle, please let us know by completing the postage paid reply card and returning it to us.

Your Isuzu dealer is best equipped to obtain parts and provide service to ensure that your vehicle is corrected as promptly as possible. If you believe that
