Valve Relay And Motor Relay

REMOVAL

1. Battery ASM
2. Harness connector
3. Ground cable nut
4. Brake pipes

After disconnecting brake pipe, cap or tape the openings of the brake pipe to prevent the entry of foreign matter.

5. Hydraulic unit fixing nuts
6. Hydraulic unit
7. Cover
8. Valve relay and motor relay

INSTALLATION

To install, follow the removal steps in the reverse order, noting the following points:

Specs:
Hydraulic unit fixing nuts torque to 22 Nm (16 lb. ft.)
Ground cable torque to 14 Nm (10 lb. ft.)
Brake pipe (joint bolts) torque to 16 Nm (12 lb. ft.)

NOTE:  After installing the hydraulic unit, bleed brakes completely. See: Brake Bleeding/Service and Repair
