Power Steering Pump: Service and Repair
Overhaul

PREPARATION:  Clean oil pump with solvent (plug its discharge and suction port to prevent the entry of solvent). Be careful not to expose the oil seal
of shaft assembly to solvent.

DISASSEMBLE 

1. Bolt.
2. Pipe, suction.
3. O-ring.
4. Connector.
5. O-ring.
6. Retaining ring.
7. Shaft assembly.
8. Oil seal.

CAUTION:  When removing the oil seal, be careful not to damage the housing.

9. Bolt.

10. Rear housing assembly and pump cartridge.
11. Spring.
12. Gasket.
13. O-ring.
14. O-ring.
15. Front housing.
16. Side plate.
17. Rotor and vane.
18. Cam.
19. Pin.
20. Rear housing.
