Prepare spray can of * ThreeBond Detail Engine Gloss (Figure 2) by shaking well.
IMPORTANT
During the next step, avoid over-spraying Engine Gloss onto nearby trim panels.

Hold can about 2-3 inches from the check arm and apply Engine Gloss. Be sure to coat both the top and bottom surfaces of check arm.

Allow check arm to air dry for at least 6 minuets. Do not close the tailgate before the Engine Gloss is completely dry.
NOTE:
If the check arm is still tacky to the touch after 6 minutes, allow additional drying time until the coating has fully dried and hardened.

* One 10 oz. aerosol can of ThreeBond Detail Engine Gloss (AIPDN Part Number 2-90531-910-0) that is applied to the check arm will service
approximately 50 to 75 vehicle, when used for this repair. Use sublet code B1 on the warranty claim for maximum reimbursement of $1.00 to cover the
cost of material used during this repair.
