Body Side Protectors and Associated Parts
Removal
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Remove the rocker protector.
Remove the four inside hex screws and the seven fasteners.
CAUTION: When removing the fastener by screw driver (1), hold the grommet (2) to prevent them from turning together.
3. Remove the front fender protector.

Let a 5 mm (0.2 in) drill (4) go through the five blind rivets (1) to disengaged riveted portions.

Remove the four inside hex screws, the two fixing screws and disengage the clips.

Pull out the portion of the double-sided adhesive tape of protector from body panel carefully.
