Checking Coil Between Terminals 1 And 4

Connect the ohmmeter between (-) terminal and (center). Reading should be:

6000 ohm ± 10%

If not, replace and retest with new coil.

If coil passes test, it is in good operating condition.

8.

Reconnect all connectors.
