6. Detach the left and right-hand brake cable retaining brackets.

7. Detach the handbrake cables, conduit and equalizer.

8. Using the special tool, detach the hand brake cables from the crossmember.

9. Remove the differential.

10. Remove the upper suspension arm.
11. Remove the lower suspension arm.
12. Remove the crossmember.

Installation

1. NOTE:  The final tightening of the rear suspension components must be carried out with the vehicle on its wheels.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
