Brake Rotor/Disc: Service and Repair
Front Disc

Removal 

1. Remove the brake pads, refer to the procedure: [ Pads] See: Brake Pad 

2. Detach the caliper and anchor plate assembly.

Secure the caliper and anchor plate assembly out of the way to prevent damage to the flexible brake hose.

3. Remove the brake disc.

Remove the retainers.

4. If the brake disc is being refitted, the tip of a hub stud must be marked with a corresponding part of the brake disc for correct re-alignment.
