Oxygen Sensor: Service and Repair
Upstream Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S)

Removal

1. Raise and support the vehicle. See: Maintenance/Vehicle Lifting/Service and Repair  

NOTE:  Take care not to damage the oxygen sensor casing or twist the cable.

2. Remove the oxygen sensor 

Disconnect the electrical connector 
Remove the oxygen sensor.

 
Installation

NOTE: Take care not to damage the oxygen sensor casing or twist the cable. 

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
