Crankshaft setting, main tool 303-645
Removal
1. Remove the engine front cover (timing cover). See: Timing Cover/Service and Repair
2. Remove the VVT solenoid.
3. Remove the VVT bush carrier from the right-hand bank.
Remove the bush carrier retaining bolts.
Release the carrier from the two ring dowels and remove it.
4. Raise and support the vehicle. For additional information, refer to Vehicle Lifting.
