Air Door Actuator / Motor: Service and Repair
Actuator - Floor Duct

Removal

1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Remove the lower finish panel and shield under the steering column.

3. Remove the actuator.

1. Disconnect the actuator electrical connector.

Remove the actuator.

 
Installation

1. NOTE:  New door actuator assemblies have the actuator in mid-position. If reinstalling an actuator removed from the vehicle, electrically drive

the actuator to the mid-position to assist in assembly.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.

1. If reinstalling an actuator removed from the vehicle, align the arrow (1) on the actuator housing with the line on the actuator coupling (2).
