Front Door Window Regulator: Removal and Replacement

Front Door Window Regulator and Motor (86.25.04)

Removal

1. Remove the front door window glass.
2. Detach the motor and window regulator rail.

3. Detach the motor and window regulator rail.

-

Detach the outermost cable retaining clip.

4. Disconnect the motor and window regulator electrical connector.

5. Remove the motor and window regulator.

Installation

1. NOTE:  Make sure that the cable from the motor is the outermost cable.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.

2. Attach the motor and window regulator rail.

-

Attach the outermost cable retaining clip.

-

Tighten to 6 Nm.
