ISSUE:
Some blown fuses fail to illuminate the "Circuit Failure" warning on the instrument display.
NOTE:
A blown fuse # A7 from the RH fuse box and fuse # 9 from the center fuse box will illuminate the display only under certain operating
conditions.
ACTION:
Whenever any electrical component/circuit fails, check the condition of all fuses in the affected circuit using a digital voltmeter prior to performing any
diagnostic work.

NOTE:
All three fuses supply the instrument pack with power. Failure of any of these fuses will result in no VCM display.

Failure of fuse # 9 will result in the following:

Windshield wiper inoperative

A/C motorized aspirator inoperative
^
Main, dip, and fog lights inoperative.
^
Passive seat belt fails to remain in rearward docked position when reverse is selected and drivers door open.
^
Directionals, seat heaters, heated rear window and seat belt warning inoperative.
^
Audible warning sounds for 10 seconds when "Park" is selected and the ignition is in the I or II position.
NOTE:
Circuit Failure will only be displayed when reverse is selected.
