ISSUE:
Sun roof limit switch fails to operate in the 3/4 position and will only operate in the over-ride mode (fully open position selected).
ACTION:
Use the following procedure to correct this problem:

Close the sun roof.
NOTE:
If the sun roof does not operate electrically close the roof using the manual "key" located in the roof lamp console.

Lower the roof lamp console assembly.
^
Locate the yellow PM 4 connector SR1.
^
Set Digital Volt Ohmmeter to ohms.
^
Probe the OG (orange/green) and OS (orange/slate) located in connector SR1.
Ohmmeter Reading Results
With the sun roof closed, the ohmmeter should read continuity. If the circuit is open, the limit switch or sun roof harness has failed.
With the sun roof closed and the ohmmeter reading continuity, move the sun roof past the 3/4 open position. If the ohmmeter reads open, the limit switch
is not faulty. Perform additional diagnostic procedures using JDS, or refer to Electrical Guide schematics.
