Oil Pressure Sender: Service and Repair

OIL PRESSURE TRANSMITTER 

 
RENEW

Open the bonnet and disconnect the battery earth lead.
From above: - Slacken the clip (1) securing the rubber boot (2).
Raise the vehicle on a ramp.
Remove the oil filter cartridge.
Disconnect the lucar connector from the oil pressure transmitter.
Undo and remove the transmitter. 
Clean the transmitter mating face.

Fitting a new transmitter is the reversal of the removal procedure.
