Throttle Butterfly Valve: Description and Operation

Throttle Body And Components

Throttle body houses throttle butterfly.  It also has several vacuum fittings and throttle potentiometer is mounted to underside.  Throttle body is mounted
to intake manifold and controls amount of air flow into engine.
