Vanden Plas L6-4.0L (1990)
- Remove the trim finisher (Fig. 1).
- Fitting is the reversal of this procedure.

RENEW
- Remove the console ashtray. See: Ash Tray/Service and Repair
- Remove the gear lever knob and locknut.
- Disengage the retaining clips from the upper console area and remove the finisher.
- Reverse the removal procedure to refit.
GEARBOX SPORT MODE SWITCH FINISHER
Renew
- Disconnect vehicle battery earth.
- Remove gearbox sport mode switch.
- Carefully displace and remove finisher (Fig. 2).
- Fitting is the reversal of this procedure.
