OIL SUMP MODIFICATION

Beginning with VIN 607811 (Engine Number 9EPCLA112736), the oil pressure relief valve access plug has been deleted from the oil sump on 1990
MY Sedan Range vehicles.

The oil sump must be removed to gain access to the oil pressure relief valve on engines incorporating this change. To remove the sump, refer to section
12.60.38 of the 4.0 Sedan Service Manual.
