ISSUE:
Blower motors "tick" or "squeak" when the fan is on low speed, or when the vehicle is accelerating or braking.
ACTION:
Revised blower motors were introduced at VIN 657163 on Sedans and VIN 183290 on XJS vehicles. For vehicles prior to these VIN's, replace blower
motors with the following blower motor part numbers:
Sedan Range 88-90 MY:
Right Hand...........CBC 8966
Left Hand............CBC 8967
Sedan Range 91 MY - onwards:
Right Hand...........CCC 5400
Left Hand............CCC 5401
XJS - up to 92 MY
Right Hand...........CCC 5546
Left Hand............CCC 5547
XJS - 92 MY onwards
