ODOMETER MILEAGE READINGS
After disconnecting the battery on 1990 MY Sedans, the instrument pack odometer will initially display 48560 when the battery is reconnected and the
ignition is switched on.
The figure will remain displayed until the bulb check sequence has been completed. When the warning lamp display goes out, the odometer display will
return to the correct recorded mileage.
This is a normal function of the instrument pack following battery reconnection.
NOTE:
To prevent permanent instrument pack damage, Do NOT disconnect the battery when the ignition is turned on.
