KEY POINTS:

INTRODUCTION OF 7 LITER RESERVOIR

Beginning with VIN 610400, vehicles incorporate a 7 liter windshield washer fluid reservoir (JLM 2261) as used on VDP/Majestic vehicles, replacing
the previously used 4 liter unit.

NOTE:

Vehicles incorporating a headlight power-wash reservoir are not affected by this change.

When changing any washer fluid reservoir, ensure that the mounting bolts are not over tightened. The correct mounting torque is 1 - 3 N-m (1 - 2.5
ft.lbs.). Also ensure that the threads are clean and free from any debris.

When installing a new reservoir on a pre VIN 610400 vehicle, the following parts are required:

NOTE:

The 101 ring (JLM 1243) should also be replaced.
