FRONT DOOR LOCK SOLENOID BRACKET
Isolated instances have been reported of the door lock solenoid bracket becoming detached from the intrusion member. To assist in repair, the following
information is provided:
METHOD
1.
Remove door trim casing and armrest - Workshop Manual repair operation number 76-34-01.
2.
Remove door trim crash rail - 76-34-17.
3.
Remove door trim glass - 76-31-01.
4.
Remove 2 screws securing lock solenoid to mounting bracket and move solenoid to one side.
5.
Remove the bracket from the door and remove the remains of any weld from the bracket.
