Vanden Plas L6-4.2L (1982)
1. Fit replacement master cylinder over studs, replace washers and nuts, and tighten to correct torque.
2. Unplug delivery pipes and connect to master cylinder.
3. Pry grommets from master cylinder ports to reservoir.
4. Inspect ports for complete cleanliness and fit new grommets lubricating them with brake fluid before insertion.
5. Press replacement reservoir into position.
6. Replace retaining pins and spring clips. Fill reservoir to bottom of neck with recommended fluid (Castrol-Girling Universal Brake and Clutch
Fluid).
7. Reconnect battery and bleed brakes.
