If 65 is selected from 85 then camshaft will rotate to the full cooling position so that from the central position the following functions will
occur.
Initially however:

water valve will be open

hot water will flow to heater

CAMSHAFT STARTS TO REVOLVE

Fans low
2.
Fans MED 1
3.
Fans MED 2
4.
Face level flaps open (Vac. switch outer on camshaft)
5.
Heat flaps close, cool flaps open
6.
Water temperature switch by-passed
7.
Water valve switched off (Vac. switch inner oil camshaft)
8.
Ranco overridden
9.
Hi speed/recirculation switch switches on maximum fan speeds and recirculation flaps
10.
Full cool limit switch.
If 85 from 65 is now selected, the reverse of the above sequence will occur. Assuming that the camshaft has reached the central position again then
the following will occur.
If temperature is above 40°C (103°F) then the procedure is shown below. Depends on ambient influence.

LO fan speed

MED 1 fan speed
4.
Full heat limit switch
DEGREE OF ROTATION
Depending on which position the temperature control is in initially and what temperature is selected determines how far the camshaft will rotate.
Small temperature change = Small camshaft rotation
