Distributor Advance Unit: Testing and Inspection
Vacuum Advance Unit

Distributor

1.

Remove distributor cap.

2.

Remove vacuum hose from advance unit and connect vacuum pump.

3.

Apply vacuum to unit.  Unit should hold vacuum and also move pick-up module.  If unit does not hold vacuum, replace it.  If pick-up module does
not move, check linkage connect and mounting plate.
