Control Arm: Service and Repair
Upper Control Arm
1.
Raise up front of car and place stand beneath spring seat pan.
2.
Remove two nuts, bolts and plain washers securing upper ball joint to upper control arm.
3.
Tie stub axle carrier to road spring turret to prevent damage to brake flexible hose.
4.
Remove two bolts, special washers and nylon nuts securing upper control arm fulcrum shaft to road spring turret.
5.
Reverse procedure to install.
