Clutch Switch: Description and Operation

Speed Control

Clutch Pedal Position Switch (Vehicles fitted with manual transmission)

2.5L and 3.0L vehicles

If the clutch pedal is operated when the speed control system is active, the ECM will receive a signal from the clutch pedal position (CPP) switch. This
will put the system into STANDBY mode and allow the vehicle to return to a speed demanded by the throttle pedal.
