Oil Pressure Sender

Removal

1. Raise and support the vehicle.

2. Remove and discard the oil filter.

3. Disconnect the oil pressure sender electrical connector.

4. Remove the oil pressure sender.

Installation

1. NOTE:  Apply a small bead of sealant WSK-M4G328-A3 or equivalent sealant meeting Jaguar specification on the first three threads of the oil

pressure sender.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Tighten to 15 Nm.

2. Install a new oil filter.

3. NOTE:  Use oil WSE-M2C908-A or equivalent meeting Jaguar specification. 

Check and top up the engine with oil.
