PAS pump outlet leak(s). (Figure 1)

Leak at the pipe 0-ring in the quick connector (1)

^

Replace pipe and connector (part number XR83295)

^

Tighten to 57 +/- 3 Nm (42 +/- 2 lb-ft.).

Leak at the quick connector to pump adaptor (2):

^

Disconnect joint.

^

Replace washer (part number XR85010).

^

Tighten joint to 57 +/- 3 Nm (42 +/- 2 lb-ft).

Leak at pump adaptor to pump body (3):

^

Replace pump.

^

Remove quick connector from new pump.

^

Install original pipe into new pump.

^

Tighten to 57 +/- 3 Nm (42 +/- 2 lb-ft).

Pin-hole in the main body leak. (Figure 2)

CAUTION:

Care must be taken when determining if leak is coming from PAS pump or from the engine water pump. It is not necessary to replace a PAS
pump if the engine water pump is found to be leaking.
