DDW requires the use of causal part numbers. Labor only claims must show the causal part number with a quantity of zero.

REPAIR PROCEDURE
APPLY GREASE TO ALL DOOR LATCH MECHANISMS
NOTE:
Carbaflo grease is to be used for this procedure. Carbaflo (KSP205) grease is contained in the Squeaks and Rattles Repair Kit number JLM 21204.
Replacement Carbaflo grease may be ordered thru Unipart using part number JLM 21206.
1.
Open front and rear doors and leave open.
2.
Perform the following procedures on each door:

Clean the latch mechanism.

Apply a small amount of grease to the latch rotor.
(Approximate amount and location as arrowed in Figure 1)

Hold the exterior door handle open while rotating the latch rotor to the closed position.

Release the exterior door handle.
^
Rotate the latch rotor to ensure the grease contacts the latch pawl. (Arrowed in Figure 2)
^
Pull either exterior or interior door handle to open the latch.
^
Close and open the door to check operation.
^
Remove excess grease from the striker.
^
Verify that each door opens easily and without squeaking.
