Locate wind deflector net retainer onto the datum pin. (Figure 4)

7.

Using a magnetic tool, install the two innermost Torx screws:

Tighten the Torx screws to 2 Nm +/- 0.2 Nm (1.5 lbf ft +/- 0.15 lbf ft). (Figure 4)

8.

Pull wind deflector net taut at both ends.

9.

Install the two outermost Torx screws.

Tighten the Torx screws to 2 Nm +/- 0.2 Nm (1.5 lbf ft +/- 0.15 lbf ft). (Figure 5)

10.

Ensure wind deflector net is not wavy.

11.

Fully close the roof opening panel.

ROOF OPENING PANEL MOTOR SYNCHRONIZATION (VIN R00019 - R31206)

CAUTION:

Ensure the parking brake is engaged while engine is running.

1.

Start engine.

2.

Ensure all electrical components are switched off.

3.

Raise engine speed to 1,500 RPM.
