INSTALL NEW WAIST FINISHERS AND MIRROR GASKETS

NOTE:

The Repair Procedure must be carried out on both sides of the vehicle.

NOTE:

Global Technical Reference (GTR) lookup sequence is as follows:

GTR Home > NAS > X250 - XF > Service Information > 2009 > Workshop Manual

1. Refer to Workshop Manual (GTR) section 501-09 and remove the left front door mirror.

2. Remove waist finisher.

3. Install new waist finisher. (Figure 1)

4. Remove mirror gasket.

NOTE:

Ensure mirror and gaskets are correctly seated and not deformed or crushed.

5. Install new mirror gasket. (Figure 2)

6. Refer to Workshop Manual (GTR) section 501-09 and install the left front door mirror.
