CAUTION:

Ensure the area to be sealed is clean and dry.

3. Apply Terostat 934 Henkel Product (or equivalent) suitable seam sealer to the right-hand (RH) joint. (Figure 4)

4. Repeat step 3 to the left-hand (LH) joint.

CAUTION:

Ensure the area to be sealed is clean and dry.

NOTE:

Seal over existing screen sealant under the rim of the screen, ensuring new sealant seals any holes where the panel step meets existing sealant.

5. Apply black Sikaflex 221 (or equivalent) suitable screen sealer to the RH joint. (Figure 5)

6. Repeat step 5 to the LH seam.

7. Install the luggage compartment lid seal.

8. Close the luggage compartment lid.

UPDATE THE CONTROL MODULE SOFTWARE

CAUTION:

Ensure all ignition "ON" / Ignition "OFF" requests are carried out; failure to perform these steps may cause damage to control modules in the vehicle.

CAUTION:

A Jaguar-approved Midtronics Vehicle Power Supply must be connected to the vehicle battery during IDS diagnosis / module programming.

1. Connect the Jaguar-approved Midtronics Vehicle Power Supply to the vehicle battery.

2. Turn ignition ON (engine not running).
