Luggage Compartment Will Not Open / Rear Parking Aid Camera

CONDITION SUMMARY:

Situation:
The luggage compartment lid may not open or the rear Parking Aid camera may be inoperative. These issues may be caused by the wiring in the link
harness being broken through

Action:
In the event of a customer concern of the above, refer to the Repair Procedure outlined below to install a new luggage compartment lid link wiring
harness.

REPAIR PROCEDURE

REPLACE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT LID LINK HARNESS

NOTE:

Use the emergency key inside the Jaguar Smart Key System(TM) handset to gain access if the luggage compartment lid cannot be opened remotely.

1. Refer to Workshop Manual, section 501-05: Interior Trim and Ornamentation Specification, and remove the luggage compartment lid trim panel.
