'Knock' / 'Creak' Noise from Front Brakes - Repair Procedure
AFFECTED VEHICLE RANGE
CONDITION SUMMARY:
Situation:
On XF Supercharged models only (excluding XFR), while driving at low speeds and with the brakes applied, a 'knock' / 'creak' noise may be evident
from the front brakes. This noise may be caused by the front brake pads moving in the anchor brackets.
Action:
In the event of a customer concern of the above, refer to the Repair Procedure outlined below to install new, modified front brake pads and anchor
brackets.
