4. Install the new heatshield (XR852227): (Figure 2)

Install the two bolts only.

Tighten bolts to 7Nm (5lbf ft).

5. Refer to Workshop Manual section 309-00C: Exhaust System - 5.0L NAV8-AJ133 / 5.0L SC V8-AJ133 > Removal and Installation > Front Muffler,

and install the front muffler.

6. Refer to Workshop Manual section 100-02: Jacking and Lifting > Description and Operation > Lifting, and lower the vehicle.

RESEAL REAR WINDSHIELD

1. Open the luggage compartment lid.

2. Release the luggage compartment lid seal. (Figure 3)

CAUTION: 

Ensure the area to be sealed is clean and dry.

3. Apply Terostat 934 Henkel Product (or equivalent) suitable seam sealer to the right-hand (RH) joint. (Figure 4)

4. Repeat step 3 to the left-hand (LH) joint.
