Radiator Cooling Fan Motor: Service and Repair

1.

Disconnect battery ground cable.

2.

Remove radiator lower grille, then remove clips securing wiring harness to cross beam.

3.

Disconnect fan motor wiring harness connector.

4.

Remove cross beam to body mounting bolts, spacers and washers.

5.

Move fan motor as necessary and remove mounting frame to cross beam spacing washers.

6.

Remove fan motor and cross beam as an assembly, then remove fan blades.

7.

Remove fan motor mounting nuts and bolts, then separate fan motor from cross beam.

8.

Reverse procedure to install.
