Fuel Pipe - Rattle - Install Pipe Clip
ISSUE:
1995 MY Sedan Range vehicles within the VIN range above may experience a light rattle from the rear. The rattle occurs at idle with the vehicle
stopped. A plastic fuel pipe clip was installed in production at VIN 738090 to stabilize the fuel pipes and prevent the possibility of a rattle.
ACTION:
If a customer complains of a rattle as described above, perform the following procedure.
1.
Check the alignment of the fuel feed and return pipes near the fuel filter. The fuel pipes must not come into contact with any body member or
adjacent pipes.
2.
Install a plastic pipe clip (part number KDG 108104) between the fuel pipes as shown in illustration 1.
