Raise the vehicle and remove the center mounting bolt (illustration 1) and the rebound washer from the transmission mount.

Position suitable wooden blocks between a jack and the rear mounting bracket. Raise the jack, so that in its almost fully extended position, it
supports the rear mounting bracket tightly against the body.

Remove the 4 nuts and washers that retain the mounting bracket.
9.
Carefully lower the jack until the tension in the two springs is released. Lower the jack until the bracket, springs, center weight and spacers can be
removed.
10.
Remove the bush from the bracket.
11.
Remove the peg and the upper spring cup from the transmission. Discard the upper and lower rubber spring seats.
12.
Clean the bracket, the upper and lower springs, the center weight, and the adjoining faces.
CAUTION:
Oil and grease must not be allowed to contaminate the replacement bush.

Install the replacement peg with the upper spring cup on the transmission. Torque the peg to 67.5 - 81.5 lb ft (90 - 110 Nm).
14.
Install new upper and lower rubber spring seats to the upper and lower springs.
15.
Install the replacement bush in the mounting bracket.
16.
Position the springs, center weight, and spring seats in the mounting bracket.
17.
Position the bracket and spacers on the body and support the assembly with the jack.
18.
Raise the jack, compressing the two springs, until the bracket and spacers completely contact the vehicle body, ensuring that the peg is centered in
the bush. Install the retaining nuts and washers.
19.
Remove the jack and lower the vehicle.
20.
Remove the engine support MS53.
21.
Remove the lifting bracket from the intake manifold. Reconnect the engine ground lead and reinstall the two manifold nuts. Remove the fender
covers.
22.
Raise the vehicle and install the center mounting bolt and the rebound washer.
