KEY POINTS:
DOOR HANDLE CLIP
Excessive force applied to the interior door handle may cause the cable retaining clip (AGU 1815) to become disconnected.
If any door cable becomes disconnected it should be reconnected using a revised clip, (AGU 2678 Right Hand, AGU 2679 Left Hand).
NOTE:
The revised clip should be installed on a complaint basis only.
To install the revised clip, use the following procedure:

Remove the door trim veneer panel.

Remove the retaining clip form the cable.
^
Install the revised clip to the interior handle.
^
Insert the cable end into the clip and lock the clip into position on the cable.
^
Operate the door handle ensuring that it does not interfere with the clip at full travel.
