Glove Compartment: Service and Repair
Glove Compartment
RENEW
- Remove dash liner passenger side. See: Trim Panel/Service and Repair
- Remove glove box lid.
- Remove the glovebox striker.
- Remove the screws securing the glove box to the fascia rail. Displace the relay mounting panel to glovebox rear securing screws and slacken the front
securing screws.
- Displace the relay mounting panel and glovebox for access.
- Disconnect glove box and luggage compartment release switch harness multi plugs.
- Remove the glove box assembly (Fig. 3).
- Cut lamp harness tie strap and remove glove box lamp.
- Release the lamp switch retaining lugs and remove the switch.
- Remove the screws securing the luggage compartment release switch mounting to the glove box.
- Remove the switch and harness assembly.
- Remove the spire clips and remove the lid rubber buffers.
- Fitting is the reversal of this procedure.
