Modulator

Modulator

- Remove the modulator cover securing screw and remove the cover.
- Remove the modulator clamp securing screws and remove the clamp.
- Disconnect the harness block connector.
- Remove the ground lead securing nut, and remove the ground lead.
- Place a cloth to collect any escaping fluid and disconnect the brake pipes from the modulator.
- Remove the modulator securing nuts and remove the modulator.
- Reverse the removal procedure to refit the replacement modulator.
- Bleed the system.
- Refit the modulator cover and close the bonnet.

TORQUE

Ground lead securing nut .................................................................................................................................................................................  2.2-2.7 Nm
Hydraulic pipes to modulator .........................................................................................................................................................................  9.5-10.8 Nm
Modulator mounting bracket to body ...................................................................................................................................................................  7-10 Nm
Modulator unit to mounting bracket .....................................................................................................................................................................  7-10 Nm
Screw cover to modulator .......................................................................................................................................................................................  1.5 Nm
Screw harness clamp to modulator .........................................................................................................................................................................  1.5 Nm
