XJ-6 L6-3.6L (1989)
- Remove the top raii securing bolts (1 Fig 3) and remove the top rail and lift out the radiator assembly.
- Remove the radiator mounting rubbers.
- Reverse the removal procedure to refit the replacement radiator and hoses.
- Tighten the clips, fit a drain plug to the radiator, top up the cooling system with the correct water/anti-freeze solution, refit the pressure cap and air
cleaner, close the bonnet.
TORQUE FIGURES
Bottom water hose to radiator 3.8 - 4.3 Nm
Lower panel-radiator assembly to body 22 - 28 Nm
Steering cooler hoses to radiator 19 - 23 Nm
Top rail to body bolts 7-1O Nm
Top water hose to radiator 3.8 - 4.3 Nm
