SERVICE INFORMATION
To prevent climate control system temperature instability and slow temperature sensing, a revised sensor assembly is available through Zone Parts
Departments.
With the kit installed, the sensor response time and temperature overshoot are reduced and the operation of the face/foot level differential control is
improved.
NOTE:
This revision will be incorporated on 1990 M.Y. vehicles as a mid-year running change.
SERVICE PROCEDURE
To install the revised sensor assembly, use the following procedure:
1.
Record all present AM and FM radio station frequencies.
2.
Switch ignition 'OFF' and disconnect battery negative lead.
3.
Remove passenger side dash liner and lower ventilator assembly.
