Spark Plug: Service and Repair
Removal and Installation
1.
Be sure ignition switch is OFF.
2.
Carefully remove ignition wires from spark plugs.
3.
Remove spark plugs.
Checking Spark Plug For Wear, Damage, Or Deposits
4.
Check and adjust gap of new plugs to 0.9 mm (0.035 in) and refit.
5.
Tighten plugs to 23 - 28 Nm (17 - 20 ft lb)
6.
Refit ignition wires securely.
